An acknowledged American treasure of the performance world, a sought after teacher, and a university professor of music whose teaching studio alumni list spans all facets of the professional vocal world, Katherine Ciesinski is the Martin E. and Corazon D. Sanders Endowed Professor of Voice at the Eastman School of Music.
After launching his conducting career at the Malko & Besançon Competitions, then winning the Ford Foundation American Conductor's Prize, Mark Powell went on to found the American Radio Chamber Orchestra. He is Director of Orchestra Activities at the University of Rochester's Arthur Satz Music Department and Lead Conductor of the New Conductors Orchestra in Manhattan.
